The development of Belarusian and Russian economics is the integral part that should lead to accelerated integration process and to the Constitutional Act adoption. That was reported in the course of “Minsk-Moscow” videoconference by Oleg Tolkachev, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly's economic policy commission , and the Federation Council member of the RF .
“Nothing can prevent us now from accelerating of the pace of integration or at least from making it integrated the cooperation sphere”, believes he. According to the parliamentarian nowadays the cooperation that has existed from the Soviet times in the area of Belarusian goods delivery to Russian market and on the contrary is developing very effective. Meanwhile O.Tolkachev added that the last two years the turnover between the two countries has grown, but the pace of its growth is lower than in previous years.
According to his words inter-regional relations are developing very actively. “In Moscow they pay much attention to this development, and Yuri Luzhkov, the mayor of Moscow, personally is conducting the cooperation processes”, - said parliamentarian and added that the number of Russian regions involved in cooperation relations with Belarus will increase.
“As for politics, Parliamentary Assembly plumps for the Constitutional Act adoption”, - pointed out O.Tolkachev. According to him the heads of the both states will show the political will and the requirement of the nations to live together will be met.
